As a trio, the group quickly gained notice for its volatile chemistry. They first documented the remarkable connection on two live albums recorded in Paris in 2000. “Beat Degeneration” (Sunnyside) focuses on Werner’s originals, while “Form and Fantasy” (Double-Time Records) ranges from Bach’s “Sicilienne” and Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” to Bill Evans’ “Time Remembered” and Herbie Hancock’s “Dolphin Dance.”.

When the library ballet shoes for sale opened in 2003, it was an unusual hybrid that joined the San Jose Public Library and the San Jose State University Library, The nine-story building, perched on the edge of the  campus, has welcomed more than 38 million visitors in that time, according to the library folks, Thursday’s celebration will start at 11 a.m, and will include remarks by San Jose State Library Dean Tracy Elliott and San Jose Library Director Jill Bourne in the library’s lobby, That will be followed by tours and a series of hourly events in the library’s atrium including on-the-spot poetry, guitar performances by SJSU grad students Addison Rifkind and Yaxin Yang and dance performances by San Jose State’s School of Music and Dance and the Spartan Swing Dance Club..

What do you want to do when you visit Disneyland or any other theme park? Go on rides? Eat? Meet characters? Whichever of these reasons you think is luring you to the parks, there’s a strong chance that something else is steering you there, instead. Disney invited me to spend some time with its Imagineers and park managers over the weekend, to talk about the new Pixar-themed attractions that the company is debuting this spring and summer at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. I’ve spoken to many theme park designers over the years, and it always fascinates me how much more attention they seem to give to what visitors are feeling or thinking over what they’re actually doing while in the park.
